Missouri Highway Patrol Troop F handled 121 calls for service, 74 stranded motorists and 22 non-injury crashes on Friday, according to a social media post from MSHP Troop F.
Troop F continues to recommend that people stay safe at home while MoDOT works to improve road conditions.
Columbia snowplow crews shift toward residential street coverage
A 40-person Columbia snowplow crew shifted to clearing residential streets Friday afternoon and will continue to work until 7 p.m. before being relieved by an overnight crew, the city of Columbia said in a Friday afternoon update.

Trash and recycling collection suspended on Friday
Friday curbside trash and recycling collection services were suspended. Columbia Utilities asks that residents whose trash and recycling wasn’t collected to leave their roll carts and recycling on the curb on Saturday when collection resumes.
