ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — The defense attorney for Luigi Mangione has reportedly filed a motion, challenging his detention at a state correctional facility following his arrest in Altoona earlier this week.
Investigators say the 26-year-old is charged with forgery and illegal weapons possession, in Blair County, after he was reportedly recognized by a customer at the East Plank Road McDonald’s on Monday morning.
Police say Mangione reportedly gave officers a fake ID and was found to be in possession of a “ghost gun” that was similar to the one used in the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson…
