NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you’re looking to apply for affordable housing in New York City, a free program is making the application process a little easier.
The Ready to Rent program will provide New Yorkers with one-on-one counseling on how to navigate the affordable housing process , such as understanding eligibility and income documentation.

Residents can also take advantage of financial counseling to review their credit, calculate income for housing applications, manage debt, and save for moving expenses.
