BOONE, N.C. (WBTV) – Residents of the North Carolina high country will have an opportunity to receive free cleanup supplies at some Lowe’s locations on Wednesday after Helene battered the western part of the state.
Lowe’s said stores in Boone, West Jefferson, Banner Elk and Morganton will host “Bucket Brigade” events beginning at 11 a.m.
Addresses for the participating Lowe’s locations are below:
- 158 Lowe’s Drive, West Jefferson
- 1224 Burkemont Ave., Morganton
- 1855 Blowing Rock Road, Boone
- 8312 Little Road, Banner Elk
Each store will give out more than 200 buckets filled with sponges, goggles, moisture absorber, water, heavy-duty trash bags, a flashlight and batteries. The buckets will be available while supplies last…
