NO ARRESTS MADE IN ONE-YEAR-OLD CHEVY CHASE SHOOTING CASE

No arrests have been made in a fatal shooting that happened one year ago in White Township

Today marks the one-year anniversary of a fatal shooting at the Chevy Chase Community Center.  The shooting was reported at 12:30 AM at a non-university-sanctioned IUP Homecoming party.  One person, 22-year-old Jamar Montae Porterfield Harriot, Jr. of Homestead was killed in the shooting and eight others were injured.

We reached out to the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office, who is handling the prosecution of this case.  They said they have nothing they can release publicly, except for the fact that the case is pending…
