CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown man is facing charges after allegedly leaving a dog outside without food or water during a heat wave.
William Dunn, 64, was charged after police were called to a residence on the 600 block of Froheiser Street on July 10. When police arrived, they reported a dog, an American Bully, was found outside at the rear tied up to a fence, according to the criminal complaint.
There was allegedly a foul smell coming from the dog and there were flies seen all around it. Police noted that there were flipped-over dog bowls that appeared to be out of reach as well as a lack of shelter or coverage in the yard for the dog…
