White Township invites Halloween contest entries

The contest to determine the best-dressed home for the Halloween season in White Township reaches a peak this weekend. The entry deadline for the contest, which offers prizes for daytime décor and nighttime effects, is Friday evening. Any White Township residence is eligible and may be nominated by the homeowner, their friends, their neighbors, or even passersby.

The township will present the full cast of candidates for online public voting Saturday morning.

The White Township board of supervisors will present gift certificates from the township’s recreation department to the top vote-getting entries. Residents whose Halloween decoration schemes get the most votes in the daytime and nighttime categories will receive certificates for up to $100 worth of recreation programs, services, admissions and rentals.
