PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) – A Paragould man, whose DNA investigators said linked him to a reported rape two years ago, will not be going to prison.

On Monday, Oct. 22, Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Melissa Richardson sentenced 22-year-old Jason Rowland to 60 months suspended imposition of sentence after he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second-degree sexual assault.

Paragould police arrested Rowland in February of this year after they said DNA tests linked him to an alleged rape in 2022…
