Boynton Beach man pleads guilty in murder-for-hire plot

FLORIDA — A Boynton Beach man has pled guilty to murder-for-hire after paying an undercover agent posing as a hitman to carry out a killing, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida has announced.

Makram Khashman, 58, admitted during a hearing in Fort Lauderdale that he had met with an undercover Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agent on two occasions to arrange the murder.

Mr Khashman reportedly sought revenge on the intended victim, who he claimed had taken over a million dollars from him and forced his family out of their home. He agreed to pay $5,000 for the killing, offering half up front and the rest upon receiving photographic evidence of the murder…
