“They should have definitely gotten a little bit more ahead of this before a month ago, honestly and school’s been in for months now, so it should have definitely been a priority to begin with,” Port St. Lucie Mom, Taylor Williams said.
William is talking about a new security policy Somerset Academy said is now being used to screen faculty and staff. According to a statement they sent to parents and shared with CBS 12 News, “the new policy now includes advising the school of the clearance status of the candidate in addition to providing information regarding whether a candidate has a criminal record.”…
