LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — The third suspect connected to the deadly shooting of a suspected Lake Worth brothel owner in early September was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Thursday.

Marco Rubi Escobar’s body was found on September 5 at around 9:46 p.m. at 3575 Melaleuca Lane — a frequented brothel— following reports of a shooting, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO). Deputies reported that Escobar was unresponsive and surrounded by expended rifle cartridge casings. An autopsy later confirmed multiple gunshot wounds as the cause of death, ruling it a homicide.

Anthony Lee Jennings and his co-conspirators, Spencer Privert, and a 15-year-old boy, are accused of killing Escobar, according to PBSO. Privet and the teenage suspect were booked on October 2, for first-degree murder, armed burglary, and aggravated battery with a firearm. Jennings, who was already in the custody of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for grand theft of a firearm and resisting an officer was booked on November 21 into the PBC Jail.
