Be Prepared West Michigan: Dangerously Cold Temperatures, Up to 10 Inches of Snow on Way

Here we go again. More wintry weather is on the way, West Michigan.

As arctic air moves through the region, multiple weather advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service.

On Monday and Tuesday we are set to experience the coldest daytime temperatures since 2019.

All West Michigan counties are included in a Cold Weather Advisory midnight tonight through noon on Wednesday. Temperatures will be in the single digits Monday and Tuesday, according to Fox 17. However, wind chills as low as 20 below are possible, which can cause frostbite in as little as 40 minutes.

Michigan State Police issued a warning about the extreme cold. They advise residents to limit time outside. If you must go outdoors, wear several layers of warm clothing and watch for signs of frostbite or hypothermia…
