Leroy Township man arrested after assault, threatening others with guns, explosives

LEROY TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Leroy Township man for making what they call credible threats to harm relatives using guns and explosives.

The 33-year-old was arrested on Christmas after a police chase through several jurisdictions in Calhoun County that ended in Emmett Township when his vehicle got stuck in a field.

Deputies say he had physically assaulted a relative in the 10000 block of Running Deer Ridge in Leroy Township before taking off, and threatened to come back with a gun and explosives…
