But it is used professionally as well, allowing for advances in professional fields like the healthcare industry and changing how homes are being built.
But one thing that people have started making with 3D printers has become a source of major controversy that has seen swift legislation from the President himself. Now, Michigan lawmakers have decided they want to completely ban a type of gun that doesn’t have any government oversight and has become a dangerous item.

3D printers allow users to print pretty much anything they want, and one of those things is a fully functional “ghost gun”, or a gun that is made in people’s own homes and bypasses the usual background checks safety measures. People who are usually barred from owning firearms like people with domestic violence charges can skirt safety parameters.
