Road closure impacts Battle Creek’s Claude Evans Park area as improvements continue

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — As part of the ongoingClaude Evans Park Improvement Project in Battle Creek, the city announced that a road closure has gone into effect Tuesday while construction continues.

Helen M. Montgomery Avenue is closed to through traffic from Hudson Street to Parkway Drive, as well as portions of Hanover Street, while crews complete pavement removal, officials said.

Those living on Hanover Street will still have driveway access, and barricades will be put up from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day while construction is underway, according to the city.
