KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The rain is gone, and we get some nice sunshine for the next few days! Morning lows on Sunday will be down in the lower 40s to start the day, with afternoon highs reaching right around 60 degrees. It will be a bit cool for Chiefs tailgaters, but sunny skies and mid/upper 50s are expected closer to kickoff at noon. There will be a noticeable west/northwest wind during the day, from 10 to 20 mph. We are expecting more sunshine to start the new work week, and afternoon highs will climb a bit to the mid-60s. Keep in mind, that our normal high this time of the year is 56 degrees. We are looking above that normal for the entire next week. As far as rain goes, we have a small chance of a shower or two early Wednesday, and again on Saturday. Confidence is low as of now to see anything significant. There are signs that maybe next Sunday could have a better rain chance, but it’s something we will keep tabs on.
