Raymore man charged with second-degree burglary for alleged early-morning attempt to rob

HOLDEN, Mo. (KCTV) – A Raymore, Missouri, man is in custody after an alleged attempted burglary in Johnson County on Saturday.

The Johnson County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1300 block of NW 50 Road early on Dec. 21 on reports of a burglary in progress.

When deputies arrived, the suspect tried to run but was found and taken into custody a short time later. He was later identified as 53-year-old Gary W. Powers of Raymore…
