Tracker | Flooding reporting in some metro Atlanta areas ahead of Helene

ATLANTA — Flooding will be come a major issue as Hurricane Helene heads toward Georgia. Much of metro Atlanta saw rain ahead of the hurricane and conditions will worsen in the overnight hours when the storm begins to move through the state.

Some areas are already seeing flooding, particularly in Brookhaven near North Fork Peachtree Creek.

One viewer submitted photos off Victor Road NE, where he said there is a six-inch fence in his backyard — but water covers the majority of it. The image is below.
