PASCO, Wash. – Columbia Basin College has increased enrollment since 2022. The college says enrollment rose 11 percent in the fall of 2024 compared to the same time last year.
Cheryl Holden, the vice president for student services, says the school was surprised at the jump in numbers, but CBC is tracking how the local schools have grown. She says even the running start student numbers increased 17 percent.
“We are up about 200 running start students compared to last year,” said Holden. “With that increase and our overall increase in regular students, it all contributed to the rise.”…
