Puyallup police chief calls for policy reform after 3 juvenile shooting arrests

PUYALLUP, Wash. — “I think we need to and can do better when it comes to public policy around juvenile crime in Washington.”

Puyallup Police Chief Scott Engle posted that comment after praising his department for making arrests in three shooting incidents in three weeks. The shootings occurred between Dec. 12 and Dec. 28, and all three incidents involved juvenile suspects.
