WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The winter weather that hit the Triad on Friday has left many parts of the area an icy mess. Even days later, on Monday, side streets are still causing problems for parents and students.
WFMY News 2’s Taylor Leverett traveled to Franklin Street in Winston-Salem on Monday to get a sense of road conditions. While some of the ice had melted, the majority remained in place in the evening hours.
