In a remarkable display of community effort and environmental stewardship, the 2024 Florida Python Challenge concluded with the removal of 195 invasive Burmese pythons from the Everglades. This annual event, organized by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), aims to mitigate the ecological damage caused by these non-native predators.
