Bullhead City parks food-sharing ban deemed legal by district court; Thornton to seek appeal

PHOENIX — A controversial Bullhead City ordinance which bans individuals from feeding the homeless in city parks without a permit was deemed constitutional Monday by a federal court.

“The City of Bullhead City has won its legal battle allowing the regulation of food sharing in city parks,” said Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter. “The court’s ruling shows that cities can have common sense laws and still help those in need.”…
