A café on Broadway in Kingston, NY was robbed at gunpoint earlier this month and police believe they have who is allegedly responsible in custody.
According to the Kingston Police Department (KPD) back on Thursday October 10th they were called to respond to a reported armed robbery at a business located on Broadway in the City of Kingston.

Police said that at approximately 9:07 p.m. officers were dispatched to Graziano’s Downtown Café at 91 Broadway for a reported armed robbery. Once on the scene employees at the café informed officers that a man had allegedly come into the business displayed a gun, demanded and stole money, and then fled the area.
Police quickly began an investigation which led them to a 41-year-old homeless man who they suspected was responsible for the robbery. Police identified Torrel Skinner as the suspect and on Saturday, October 12th they placed him under arrest and charged him with three felonies including robbery, and burglary.
Registered Sex Offender
During the course of the police investigation officers discovered that Skinner was a registered sex offender and required by law to verify his address from time to time and during one of those updates he allegedly filed a document containing false information regarding his address. That discovery led police to also charge him with two additional felonies including failing to register as a sex offender and offering a false instrument…
