POUGHKEEPSIE – Two people were arrested in the City of Poughkeepsie for illegal gun possession following a car chase for vehicle and traffic violations.
Amari Webb, 19, of Poughkeepsie, and an 18-year-old Bogota, New Jersey man were apprehended by City of Poughkeepsie police after the two had fled from state troopers in Ulster County and crashed their Hyundai into several cars in a municipal parking lot on Main Street, before fleeing on foot. The two were caught a few blocks away at Mill and North Bridge Streets.
