Grand Central Bakery recalls frozen pies, pie dough

Grand Central Bakery has issued an FDA-approved recall warning for several “U-Bake” pie products due to trace amounts of undeclared egg in them.

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” Grand Central Bakery spokesperson Hayley Estep said in an email. “So far, neither the FDA nor Grand Central has received a report of any illnesses resulting from the undeclared egg.”

The affected products include U-Bake Pie Dough, U-Bake Apple Pie and U-Bake Marionberry Pie products labeled with expiration dates between Feb. 1, 2025, and April 20, 2025, and were sold in the bakery’s Portland and Seattle locations, Estep said…
