It can be argued that perhaps this team would be 1-4 if not for the late heroics of Isaiah Simmons and Bryce Ford-Wheaton.
Simmons’ blocked field goal was celebrated across the planet. As it turns out, Malik Nabers, who had to miss the game due to a concussion, was watching the action closely at home. Nabers and Simmons have become quite close, so you can understand why the No. 6 pick lost his mind when the blocked FG was recorded.
