ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A man has been injured in a shooting incident in Pine Hills involving two deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, according to Sheriff John Mina.

SKYFOX was over the scene outside a home on Montague Place, just after 3 p.m. Several deputies and crime scene technicians were seen in the neighborhood is west of Pine Hills Drive and north of West Colonial Drive.

According to Orange County Sheriff John Mina, the activity stemmed from an investigation into two drive-by shootings earlier in the day at a residence on San Jose Boulevard between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. Detectives identified a suspect in that investigation, leading them to the home on Montague Place.

When deputies arrived, they encountered several individuals in the driveway, including the suspect. Sheriff Mina said one man was armed with a handgun equipped with an extended magazine, prompting deputies to issue repeated commands to drop the weapon.
