Woman arrested after traffic violations in school zone, biting deputy: Police

DAVENPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — A Clermont woman was arrested after speeding through a school zone and other traffic violations on Tuesday.

Lara Alexandra, 23, was driving by Ridgeview Global Studies in Davenport when a Polk County Sheriff’s deputy pulled her over.

The deputy witnessed a black Nissan speeding through the school zone, looking at an iPad, and not driving with a seatbelt, according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
