December 28- The final day of the 2024 Elevation Christmas Classic featured two games. Game one was between the Red Bird Mission Cardinals and Coalfield. Red Bird stormed back from a double-digit deficit but ran out of steam, falling 55-51 to the yellow jackets. Jake Duncan and Knox Pemberton both had 13, Levi Heidel and Jackson Anderson had 12, and Kyle Wright finished with three points. Leading the Cardinals and all scorers was Lewis with 20. Whitehead had 16, Belcher dropped in five as did Osborne. Helton had three, and Brock finished with two. The Nikki Carter Insurance Agency Player of the Game was Levi Heidel.
Next on the floor was the Panthers doing battle with Oliver Springs. This was a great game throughout three periods. Cumberland Gap opened it up during the fourth, winning 58-50. Brady Harris led the Panthers with 17. Kolton Goins had 15, Keaton Clawson had 11. Neil Bunch, along with Gavin Barton, had six each. Gabriel Daniels had two, and Cameron Burchett scored one. Gavin Johnson led the Yellow Jackets and all scorers with 25. Ethan Jones had 14, Zachary Hamblin had four, Jaxon Jett scored three, Liam Bocke and Karson Seeber both had two. The Nikki Carter Insurance Agency Player of the Game was Brady Harris. Following the game, there were some extracurricular activities in the corner of the gymnasium and in the lobby that was quickly broken up.
