Tennessee adds commitment from 4-star receiver Tyreek King

Tennessee picked up a commitment from a four-star receiver on Thursday morning. Tyreek King, a member of the class of 2026, announced his intention to play for the Volunteers over offers from several other SEC schools.

The 5-11, 168 pound receiver is a Knoxville native, playing his high school football at Knoxville Catholic. Per the 247Sports Composite Rankings, King is the 120th ranked player in the country. He’s the 17th ranked receiver in the class and the third-ranked player in the state of Tennessee.

The local prospect has been a mainstay as a visitor on the Tennessee campus, and decided to shut things down today. King was yet another one of the visitors on campus for Tennessee’s big win over Alabama. He was also a visitor for Tennessee’s thumping of Kent State this season, and also attended a couple of camp events back in the summer…
