KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WCYB) — While Tennessee’s defense’s 19 consecutive quarters without allowing a touchdown on defense came to an end on Saturday, the Vols still managed to hold the Sooners to just 222 yards of total offense. A big piece in that was the linebacker duo of Arion Carter and Keenan Pili.
Tennessee linebackers coach William Inge saying, “In my opinion, it’s definitely for sure one of the best combinations in the country. If you look at their production per play, it would definitely speak for itself.”
