Indiana team of four deployed to North Carolina to help with recovery efforts

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Several communities in the Southeast are still trying to recover after the devastation Hurricane Helene left behind.

Hundreds of first responders from across the country are helping with the efforts, including some from southern Indiana.

Four people who are part of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security Incident Management Team went down to North Carolina to help with recovery efforts. They said they wanted to be a good neighbor in a time of devastation that those on the ground say are a lot worse than what people think…
