Law professor analyzes updates in Delphi murders trial, what’s ahead in the case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Indiana University law professor Jody Madeira breaks down what’s new and what’s next in the Delphi murders trial after jurors were sworn in Thursday morning.

Richard Allen’s trial began in Allen County on Monday with jury selection. Allen is accused of killing 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German and 13-year-old Abigail “Abby” Williams in Delphi on Feb. 13, 2017.

Their bodies were found the next day in a heavily wooded area near the Monon High Bridge…
