NOBLESVILLE, Ind — Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter has been recognized by board members of the Shop for Kids program. On Monday, the board announced creation of a scholarship in Carter’s name.
The announcement was made at the conclusion of an annual fundraising golf event supporting Shop for Kids.
The $1,000 scholarship will be available to a Hamilton Heights High School student each year for the next 10 years. Criteria for the award is still under consideration by Hamilton Heights Schools Superintendent Dr. Derek Arrowwood and Carter, according to the board…
