Adoption fees at a Southern Indiana shelter are now covered through the end of the year, thanks to a local nonprofit.
Sharing your home with a cat, dog, or other pet is a big responsibility, but if you ask me, it’s worth every vet and pet food store visit. I have two cats and a dog at home, and they were all rescued off the street at various times over the years. While they can each be a handful on occasion, they’ve brought so much joy to my home. In fact, I really don’t think it would even feel like home without them at this point.
Helping Animals Find Homes in the Tri-State
Sadly, there are many more animals who are in desperate need of their own forever homes. Still, these creatures weren’t meant to spend their lives in a cage. If you’re ready to find your next companion, there are several places where you can adopt, and one of them is even offering FREE adoptions through December 31, 2024.
