“Dazed and Confused” 30th anniversary cast reunion at the Paramount Theater in Austin.

L-I-V-I-N.” Well, over 30 years have passed since the now Oscar-winning Texas star stepped into our lives to the tune of “Alright, Alright, Alright,” and although he wasn’t at the 30th anniversary of his breakout role, the rest of Austin was “L-I-V-I-N” to celebrate Dazed and Confused.
Director Richard Linklater and 15 cast members from the iconic film, which was filmed around Austin, held a screening of the film and a Q&A with the cast on Saturday, September 28, at the Paramount Theater in Austin. The anniversary was originally scheduled for 2023 — the actual 30th anniversary — at the Moody Amphitheater but was pushed back 1-year due to scheduling conflicts.
The film follows the last day of school for a group of rising seniors and incoming freshmen at Lee High School in Austin as they attempt to navigate the hazing, stoner lifestyle of 1976…
