Gusty winds and New Year’s Eve fireworks could be a problem for firefighters

Fireworks are coming with a warning this New Year’s Eve. Gusty winds could blow embers into tall grass, trees or even onto rooftops.

Inflatables at a southwest Austin fireworks stand bring you face to face with the potential problem. A cold front is keeping temperatures down and stirring up winds that have gusted up to 25 miles an hour on Tuesday.
