Southern California neighborhood considered one of the ‘coolest’ in the world

California, home to many iconic landmarks like the Hollywood Sign, Golden Gate Bridge and Balboa Park, is also home to one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world, according to Time Out magazine.

East Hollywood was ranked as the 26 th coolest neighborhood in the world due to its growing culinary scene.

“Free of Tinseltown’s tourist traps, neighbor East Hollywood has begun to stake its claim as LA’s buzziest culinary destination. Much of that rep can be credited to Melrose Hill, a developer-driven block at Melrose and Western Avenues whose brick buildings house a cluster of casual restaurants as well as the Erewhon-esque LA Grocery & Café,” the magazine said in part…
