Purdue picked up their first commit for 2025 today with the news that three-star guard Antoine West Jr. has committed to the program.

West is a Toledo native that is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star prospect. 247 ranks him as the 35th best shooting guard in his class and the fifth best prospect from Ohio. West is the second commit head coach Matt Painter has picked up from Whitmer, joining Purdue alum Ryne Smith. The guard held offers from several other Big Ten schools, including Nebraska and Ohio State, and had visited both Purdue and the Cornhuskers in September.
The 6’3 guard averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game last year while leading Whitmer to the semifinals in the state tournament…
