Ryan Day called Saturday’s win at Penn State a “crossroads.” Ohio State spent three weeks attempting to put the one-point loss to Oregon behind the team. An opportunity to do so against Nebraska was wasted as the Buckeyes came out flat and had to come from behind in the fourth quarter to win.
The Scarlet and Gray’s 20-13 victory at Beaver Stadium last weekend has added more life into the program. Ohio State was ranked No. 2 in the first College Football Playoff rankings, largely due to the team’s hard-fought loss against the Ducks and consistency before the win against the Nittany Lions.
Going forward, the Buckeyes need to build on what worked well in State College while continuing to improve…
