Two-way traffic completed along Third and Fourth streets

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Third and Fourth streets in downtown Lafayette have officially switched from one-way to two-way traffic.

This change which spans from Cincinnati Street to Alabama Street is getting positive feedback as it offers a more pedestrian and business friendly atmosphere.

For 70 years, these streets have been one way, a design dating back to the 1950s when traffic flow was more focused on cars than on foot traffic or downtown commerce…
