While the snowfall has wrapped up, that doesn’t mean Northeast Georgia is out of the woods for hazards from Winter Storm Cora just yet.
Forecasters say a drop in temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning could create more problems on the roads.
“We’re going to continue to see that freezing rain potential through the overnight hours into the 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. timeframe,” National Weather Service Forecaster Sam Marlow said Friday afternoon. “We’re going to start to see that re-freezing right as the sun goes down, in fact, in some places I think we’re already starting to see it.”…
