Advance and NASCAR gift $10,000 to Florida vehicle repair nonprofit

Led by U.S. Army veteran Ed Rosa, Fix It Forward helps low-income residents of central Florida with free vehicle repairs

Raleigh, N.C.—Advance Auto Parts Foundation (AAPF), the philanthropic arm of Advance Auto Parts, and The NASCAR Foundation, each announced $5,000 gifts to Fix It Forward, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in DeLand, Fla. The check presentations took place at Advance’s store in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Friday, Aug. 23.

Established in early 2024 and led by U.S. Army veteran Ed Rosa, Fix It Forward helps low-income residents of central Florida with free vehicle repairs. Rosa himself completes the repairs, ranging from brake jobs to replacing shocks and struts, belts and hoses, starters and alternators, and oil changes. On average, he repairs approximately 15 vehicles per month, serving homeless and disabled combat veterans, senior citizens and single parents through his free vehicle repair services…
