CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Texas-based company Uranium Energy Corp is expanding its presence in the Cowboy State.
The company entered an agreement earlier this week with Rio Tinto America to acquire 100% of Rio Tinto’s Wyoming assets, including the Sweetwater Uranium Plant, and a number of other mining projects.
It’s estimated that Rio Tinto’s uranium mining projects hold a total of nearly 175 million pounds of resources, and was purchased by Uranium Energy for $175 million…
