Eggs Up Grill Apopka, located at 502 S. Hunt Club Blvd, is excited to announce the first winners of its new “Good Egg” community initiative. This initiative is designed to celebrate and recognize the incredible first responders and other unsung heroes who make our community a better place to live.

On September 11th, residents of Apopka were invited to nominate individuals who exemplify exceptional dedication and service in our community. Whether it’s a firefighter who goes above and beyond, a teacher who inspires young minds, or a neighbor who lends a helping hand, Eggs Up Grill Apopka wants to hear about them!

This month, we are proud to recognize three inspiring people who will each receive a $30 gift card for Eggs Up Grill Apopka:

  • Amanda Chastain – Amanda’s impact as a swim coach and lifesaver is profound and far-reaching. Her selfless contributions have significantly enhanced our community’s health, safety, and well-being, potentially saving lives through her swimming instruction and promoting overall fitness through her coaching.
  • Nina Philips – Nina is described as loving, caring, compassionate, and selfless. As the Director of the Apopka Pregnancy Care Center, her acts of love and kindness are prime examples of being a “good egg.” She leads by example, not just as the center’s director but also as a community member.
  • Sarah Zabukovec – As a first-grade teacher at Bear Lake Elementary in Apopka, “Mrs. Z” makes learning fun and instills a sense of independence in her students. She is always level-headed and kind in every situation.

“We’re thrilled to shine a light on the remarkable individuals who make a difference in our community,” said Kate Giordano, co-owner of Eggs Up Grill Apopka with her husband Geoff. “These everyday heroes should be celebrated whenever possible for their contributions to keeping us safe, educated, and happy. We’re proud to have the opportunity to recognize their hard work and dedication.”…
