Southbound I-5 reopens in Marysville after semi truck collision forces closure

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — All lanes of southbound I-5 have reopened in Marysville after what appeared to be a jackknifed semi truck blocking cars Tuesday morning, according to the WashingtonState Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

Emergency crews responded to a collision on the freeway at SR 529, WSDOT said.

WSDOT said the backup was four miles long as of 7 a.m. and there is no estimate for how long the remaining closed lanes will stay shut…
