Starting Monday, October 21st, there will be a 30-day warning period for red light violations. Instead of receiving a ticket, you will receive a warning.
After the 30 days, red light violations will cost you $124.
As with the active cameras in other parts of Everett, the camera on Rucker will capture images of vehicles violating red light laws for those heading north or south on Rucker at 41st Street.
To avoid the $124 ticket, be sure to stop before the intersection line for any red light and make sure you come to a full stop before making a right turn. Running a yellow light will not trigger the cameras or result in a ticket…
