A no-show at work led a concerned coworker to dial 911, fearing for their absent colleague’s well-being. Responding officers from the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct swiftly moved to check in on the individual. Through a window, they spotted the man incapacitated on the floor.
Time was of the essence, and the officers didn’t hesitate to summon an ambulance and go to offer immediate assistance. The man, it turned out, had fallen and was unable to rise, stranded alone for hours. With the ambulance en route, the officers set out to not only provide aid to the man but to ensure his pets were cared for, refilling their bowls with food and water.
