SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Shaker Heights residents and public officials gathered Sunday at the St. Dominic School cafeteria, drawing upon the spirit of the late civil rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., to discuss how they can be agents of change in their community.
A capacity, all-ages crowd braved Sunday’s cold and snow to attend the “Shaker Heights: Many Voices, One CommUnity” MLK Day weekend event. Mayor David Weiss and members of the Shaker Heights police department were also in attendance to mingle with residents.
